UPSC CSE (Preliminary) Admit Card 2015
Union Public Service Commission is going to select qualified candidates for Civil Services of Government of India that include Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Revenue Service (IRS). This is an immensely popular exam and large number of interested people applies for it every year. This year, a lot of applicants completed registration to appear for the exam and the authority has issued UPSC CSE Call Letter 2015 for Civil Services Preliminary Examination.
Union Public Service Commission is India’s central agency authorized to conduct examination of Civil Services, Indian Forest Service, Engineering Service, Combined Defence Service etc. The examination is one of the toughest in India with success rate of 0.1%-0.3%.
UPSC Civil Services Examination Admit Card 2015
The exam will take place on 23rd August. Examination board has made hall ticket available on its official website: www.upsc.gov.in. Applicants must collect their admit card from the server by using their registration number or date of birth. For future purpose, they should keep some photo copies of UPSC IAS Admit Card 2015.
UPSC CSE Exam Pattern
Selection will be done in multiple phases. At first Preliminary test will be taken. The test is meant to serve as a screening test only. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit. The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Examination will be about twelve to thirteen times the total approximate number of vacancies to be filled in the year in the various services and posts.

Preliminary test will be of objective type consisting of two papers: General Studies & Aptitude Test. Both papers will contain 200 marks. Mark obtained in General Studies will be counted for qualifying in the main exam. But mark in the aptitude test will not be counted for main exam but candidates will have to pass in that paper and pass mark in that is 33%.
As the success rate of the exam is very low, candidates need solid preparation for the exam according to the exam pattern and syllabus. They can resort to previous question papers available online to get idea on which sort of questions to get prepared for. So, candidates need to get UPSC CSE Preliminary Hall Ticket 2015 and start taking strong preparation to ace the exam.
UPSC CSE Preliminary Result & Main Exam
Result of the exam will be published on the website and those selected will be eligible to sit for the main exam. Indian Forest Service’s Exam will be taken on 21st November and Civil Services main exam will take place on 18th December. Separate UPSC CSE call Admit Card for main test will be circulated in due time. Main exam will be of essay type. Selected people in the test will be called for interview. Candidates passing all three stages will be considered for final recruitment.
