UPSC Geologist Exam 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate has to match the eligibility criteria to appear for the UPSC Examination 2017 including the age limit, qualification, selection process, application fee which we have mentioned below.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have the Master degree in various fields including the Geology, Geo-Exploration, Oceanography, Petroleum Exploration, Geochemistry and other related fields. Apart from this, the candidate must have the M.Sc. degree in various fields which are mentioned above. For more details, the candidate can check the official notifications for the same.

Age Limit: To meet the eligibility criteria, the candidate’s age must lie between 21 to 32 years of age whereas the age relaxation will be given to the candidate as per the government rules and regulations.

Selection process: The selection of the candidate must depend on his or her capabilities as well as performance in the examination. The candidate has to undergo for the personality test as well as interview process.
