Employees State Insurance Corporation is going to announce a recruitment notice to fill various vacant posts in their department. As per the information there are total 450 vacant posts of Insurance Medical Officer Grade II in different departments of ESIC. After seeing this advertisement big number of candidates wants to apply for this recruitment. Application forms are invited from the eligible candidate in prescribed format by the selection board.
ESIC IMO Online Application
Employees’ state Insurance Corporation of India is a multidimensional social system tailored to provide socio-economic protection to worker population and immediate dependent or family covered under the scheme. Besides full medical care for self and dependents, that is admissible from day one of insurable employment, the insured persons are also entitled to a variety of case benefits in times of physical distress resulting in loss of earning capacity, the confinement in respect of insured women, dependents of insured persons who die in industrial accidents or because of employment injury or occupational hazard are entitled to a monthly pension called the dependents benefit.

Candidate willing to apply for ESCI IMO Recruitment must have posses minimum required qualification. ESCI IMO Educational Qualification & Age Limit
The educational qualification required for the posts is as the candidate must have posse’s medical qualification as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. In addition to this applicant must have completed Internship in the relevant trade and must be registered with the Medical Council of India. The candidates having age between 21 years to 30 years are eligible for applying for these posts. All SC / ST / OBC / PWD / Ex-Servicemen and other categories candidates will get age relaxation as per government norms. Upper age limit is relaxed up to 5 years for employees of ESI Corporation and Government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.
ESIC IMO Application fee & Pay Scale
The application fees for general or OBC candidate is Rs.400/-. Fees should be paid through system generated challan only in any branch of SBI. Reserved category candidates like SC / ST / PWD / Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen are exempted for the payment of Application fees. The candidates who get selected will be paid with handsome salary. The pay scale that has been offered for IMO posts is Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- with grade pay of Rs. 5,400/-. Selection Process: Selection will be done through two phase which is written exam and interview. The exam will be of both Descriptive and objective type. Selected candidates in the test will be called for personal interview. The final selection of these posts will be based on the examination and interview marks put together.
ESIC IMO Exam Pattern & Syllabus
ESIC IMO Written Examination will comprise of two Papers. Paper – I include Objective Type Multiple Choice. It comprises of 200 mark questions to assess professional knowledge. Paper – II include Descriptive Test in Official Language of the state concerned for which the candidate has applied. This paper carries 100 marks. Paper II will be of qualifying nature.
ESIC IMO Exam Cut off Marks
- General Candidate: 40% (80 marks out of 200 marks)
- Unreserved candidate: 35% (70 marks out of 200 marks)
- Cut off marks for Paper 2 is 33% (33 marks out of 100 marks) for all candidate
The candidates qualifying in Paper –I Objective Test and Paper – II Descriptive Test in Official Language will be considered for short listing for interview on the basis of their performance in Paper – I Objective Test.
