PGCIL recruitment 2016:

The Power Grid Cooperation of India Limited has invited application for the posts of Executive trainees and Diploma trainees in different fields. There are about 71 posts in different areas and the applicants who were looking for a job in Power Grid Department should apply as soon as possible. There are in all mainly three types of posts and they are of diploma trainee, junior technician and chemist. The numbers of posts are 71 in all the three sections. The eligible candidates should apply before 10th August which is the last date of submitting the application. It is one of the largest electricity company owned by the government and they require a large number of people to operate the tasks. They are hiring the candidates for all the above mentioned posts.

Name of the posts:

  • Diploma trainee ( ET): 03
  • Diploma Trainee (electrical ): 50
  • Diploma trainee (Civil): 12
  • Jr Trainee: 10
  • Chemist: 03

Education Required:

For the posts of Diploma trainee the applicant should have done the diploma in the relevant field such as civil, electrical, and electronics and communication.

For the posts of junior trainee the applicant should have completed the ITI diploma in electrical branch

For the posts of Chemist the applicant should have completed the degree in the chemistry branch from any of the recognized university in India.

Age criteria:

For posts I and 2 the minimum age should not be below 18 years and the maximum age should not exceed above 27 years as on 16th August.

For the posts of chemist the maximum age bar is of 28 years on the last date of submission of form.

Pay Scale:

The selected applicants will be given the pay scale according to the norms of the government.

Some important dates:

Date of start of application form online registration: 27/07/16

The last date of filling up of the online application form: 16/08/16

Last date of submission of fee: to be checked from the website.

Application fee:

The applicant will have to pay the fee of RS 300/ for the post of diploma trainee and RS 200/ for the post of other posts. This fee is for the applicants of the unreserved category and for the applicant of the reserved category the application fee can be checked from the website and the proper relaxation will surely be there.
