Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board of Maharashtra State of has organized the SSC examination and successfully conducted in the month of March 2016Maharashtra SSC Result 2016 will be declared by Maharashtra Board in the month of June 2016 via official website i.e. www.mahresult.nic.in.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune 411004 is an Independent Body established under the provisions of the Maharashtra State Act No. 41 of 1965. The Maharashtra Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education conducts every year the HSC and SSC Exams in the state of Maharashtra throughout its nine Divisional Boards located at Mumbai, Kolhapur, Pune, Amravati, Latur, Aurangabad, Nasik, Nagpur and Ratnagiri.

The Maharashtra Board conducts exam twice in a year and the number of students appear for the main exam is around 14 Lakhs for HSC and 17 Lakhs for SSC, for the supplementary exam nearly 6 Lakhs candidates are expected HSC and SSC together. There are about 21000 schools (SSC) and 7000 (HSC) Higher Sec. Schools or  Jr. Colleges in the entire state.

On the basis of above table statistics, we can say that every year, nearly 1 lakh students are increasing every year. Results percentage is also increasing along with the appearing students for the exam. In the year 2015, the numbers of appearing candidates were 3, 23,814 and the result percentage were 89.73.

  1. Go to the official website.
  2. Then click on SSC Examination Result 2016.
  3. Enter your Roll Number or Name in the required fields.
  4. After that click on view result.
  5. Now Candidate can download results by clicking ‘Save’ button and take the Printout by clicking ‘Print’.
